A representative from the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council has emphasized that the Chinese mainland is a promising environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, encouraging Taiwanese businesses and compatriots to engage more actively in its flourishing manufacturing landscape.

This warm invitation follows the remarkable achievement of ZXMOTO, a mainland motorcycle brand, which recently secured its first double victory in the World Supersport category at the Portuguese round of the Superbike World Championship. This news has ignited lively discussions among netizens in Taiwan, many of whom have noted that the quality of mainland manufacturing has reached impressive, world-class standards.

Zhu Fenglian, speaking at a press briefing, highlighted that the mainland's successes span various sectors, including robotics, drones, new-energy vehicles, and motorcycles. She noted that an increasing number of premier mainland brands are gaining global recognition, adeptly appealing to an international consumer base.

The spokesperson further remarked on the strength of mainland manufacturing, which benefits from a comprehensive industrial framework and robust foundational support. She confirmed that during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the focus will remain on fostering high-quality development and crafting a modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing at its core.

Zhu reiterated the mainland's potential as an ideal hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, inviting Taiwan compatriots and enterprises to settle and thrive there. She highlighted the significance of strengthening exchanges and collaboration across the Straits, emphasizing integrated development to bolster the economy of the Chinese nation.

It reflects a transition from low-cost contract manufacturing to the development of independent high-performance powertrain technologies.
