LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort Enters Trial Operations Before July Grand Opening

SHANGHAI, May 26 (Xinhua) -- The LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort, which holds the distinction of being the largest LEGOLAND in the world, has announced the commencement of practice runs and trial operations starting Saturday. This initiative marks a significant step in the final pre-opening phase of the resort, set to open its doors to the public on July 5.

As part of this pre-opening phase, select guests will receive invitations to experience the attractions and amenities of the park firsthand. Their feedback will be invaluable in fine-tuning every detail to ensure that the LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort meets the high standards of quality, creativity, and fun anticipated by future visitors.

During the trial operations, the resort will open in stages, allowing operators to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments. This careful approach is designed to optimize the guest experience and ensure that all attractions, restaurants, shows, and hotel rooms are perfectly aligned with expectations before the official launch.

Situated in Shanghai's Jinshan District, the 318,000-square-meter LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort is positioned to be a quintessential theme park and hotel destination tailored for children aged 2 to 12 and their families. With over 75 interactive rides, engaging shows, and attractions, the resort also features thousands of LEGO models that span across eight imaginative "lands."

Shanghai's emergence as a key investment hub for international theme park operators can be attributed to the growing entertainment and travel markets in China. The establishment of LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort not only follows the success of Shanghai Disney Resort but also highlights the increasing enthusiasm for leisure and tourism experiences among Chinese families.
